The Serious Stuff
Independent upstart author Bryna Butler pens an outrageous take on the legend of the tooth fairy in her debut Midnight Guardian series. Butler’s young adult romance novels feature strong female leads and are woven from elements of comedy, horror, suspense, and mystery, all in a contemporary setting.
Butler has a mass communications degree and has spent the last 15+ years working in corporate communications in the financial sector. After hundreds of published press releases and annual reports, she decided to try her hand at fiction.
The idea for Midnight Guardian came to her in 2008 on a commute from her family farm to the nearby historic small town of Gallipolis, Ohio. [pronounced GAL-uh-POLICE] She started writing only as a hobby, for the love of the story, never intending for anyone to see the finished manuscript.
The Silly Stuff
Butler is an indie author, TV fanatic, book (kindle) lover, housecleaning procrastinator, newbie blogger, cinema buff, browncoat, blessed mom and wife, district 12 resident, new gadget admirer, sucker for vampires, Saturday morning cartoon watcher, wannabe tractor driver, closet twi-mom, and the unofficial Queen of Corn (corny jokes, that is).
She can also recite nearly every line from Back to the Future. “Great Scott!”
